For the sixth year in a row, the sky will be falling at Dellinger Park. West Ridge Church is sponsoring the Cartersville Egg Drop, an Easter egg hunt with a twist. The first egg drop will begin at 11AM.
"It's an Easter egg hunt, only much cooler. In addition to tons of eggs on the field, we'll drop thousands of eggs from a helicopter. Your kids will have a blast collecting eggs that can be redeemed for tons of candy," said Rebekah Warren, a volunteer at West Ridge Church. "We have separate drops for each age group as well. Ages 2-4, ages 5-6, ages 7-9 and ages 10-12 each have their own drop. There will also be a drop for children with special needs."
This event opens and registration begins at 10:00 a.m. The event will also include music, inflatables, and food for purchase, craft vendors and a special appearance by the Easter Bunny himself.
